TEMS Solar completed a residential solar and battery installation in Bracknell, Berkshire. The system was designed to deliver efficient renewable energy generation alongside smart energy storage, with additional integration to support electric vehicle charging.
System Design & Specifications
The installation provides a total solar PV capacity of 5.22kWp using 12 JINKO 435W modules. The panel layout was optimised to make effective use of the available roof space, maximising solar energy generation.
A Fox H1 5.0kW hybrid inverter manages the system, seamlessly integrating solar production with battery storage. The Fox ECS 5.8kWh high-voltage battery stores excess energy generated during the day for use during the evening or periods of lower solar output.
Installation Highlights
A key feature of this project is the compact system installation within an outdoor utility cupboard, demonstrating a clean and space-efficient approach. The system is also integrated with a MyEnergy Zappi EV charger, allowing the homeowner to utilise solar energy for electric vehicle charging, further increasing self-consumption.
