Project Overview
TEMS Solar completed a residential solar PV installation in Yelverton, Devon. The system was designed to generate renewable electricity for the property, helping reduce reliance on grid electricity and supporting long-term energy efficiency.
System Design & Specifications
The installation provides a total solar PV capacity of 5.40kWp using 13 TRINA SOLAR 415W modules. The array was designed to make effective use of the available roof space and generate clean electricity for use within the property.
A SOLIS S5-GR3P20K 20kW three-phase inverter manages the system, converting the DC electricity generated by the solar panels into AC electricity for household or property use. Its three-phase configuration provides an inverter solution suited to compatible three-phase electrical installations.
Installation Highlights
This project combines high-quality TRINA SOLAR modules with a three-phase SOLIS inverter. The system provides a practical renewable energy solution for the property, helping make use of available solar resources without the need for an integrated battery system.
Results & Benefits
The installation offers the potential for:
Renewable electricity generation from a 5.40kWp solar array
Reduced reliance on grid electricity
Lower electricity costs through the use of self-generated power
Efficient conversion of solar energy through a three-phase inverter
A contribution towards reducing the property's carbon footprint
Conclusion
This installation demonstrates how solar PV can support more efficient energy use in residential and compatible three-phase properties. TEMS Solar delivered a tailored solution combining TRINA SOLAR panels with SOLIS inverter technology to support renewable electricity generation and long-term energy savings.
