Project Overview
TEMS Solar completed a very large residential solar and battery installation in Pulborough, Surrey. The system was designed to maximise renewable energy generation across multiple roof aspects, while incorporating substantial battery storage to increase self-consumption and reduce reliance on grid electricity.
System Design & Specifications
The installation delivers a total solar PV capacity of 9.13kWp using 22 TRINA SOLAR 415W modules. The large array was configured across multiple roof faces, allowing the system to make efficient use of the available roof space and capture sunlight across different periods of the day.
A GivEnergy Hybrid HY 5.0kW inverter manages the system, integrating solar generation with battery storage. The installation is paired with two GivEnergy GivBat 9.5kWh batteries, providing a combined storage capacity of 19kWh. This substantial battery capacity allows a significant proportion of surplus solar energy to be stored for use during the evening and periods of lower solar generation.
